1. Who we are

Elayto (elayto.com and the Elayto app) is operated by Sunu Surendranath Nair, a sole proprietor trading as Elayto, based in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India ("Elayto", "we", "us"). Contact: hello@elayto.com.

By creating an account, joining early access or buying a plan, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy and Refund policy.

2. What Elayto does

• Reads your resume and your answers to build your profile ("your story").
• Scores how well you fit a job you choose, against a bar you set, and gives a suggestion: apply, your call, or pass.
• Drafts a resume and application tailored to a job, using only what you've told us.
• Offers a practice review of an application by a panel of five AI reviewers (the "five-reviewer check").
• Lets you track your applications and outcomes.
• For employers and recruiters: lets you post jobs and review candidates who chose to share their profile with you.

Elayto is a platform that connects job seekers and employers. We are not an employer, a recruitment agency or a placement agency, and we don't make hiring decisions.

3. AI and its limits

• Scores, verdicts, drafts and five-reviewer checks are produced with the help of AI. They are guidance, not facts or promises. You decide what to apply for and what to send.
• We don't guarantee interviews, offers or any outcome.
• The five-reviewer check is a practice panel. It is not the employer, and nothing is sent to anyone when you use it.
• You can ask for a human review of any score by writing to hello@elayto.com.

4. Your account

• You must be at least 18.
• Give accurate information and keep your login secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.
• During early access, sign-in is limited to invited email addresses. We may change or end early access at any time.

5. Your content and its accuracy

• You own your resume, your story and everything you upload ("your content"). You give us permission to store and process it only to run Elayto for you, as described in the Privacy policy.
• You're responsible for the truth of what you tell us and what you send to employers. Elayto won't add claims you didn't make, but you should still read every draft before using it.
• Employers see your profile only when you choose to share it with them.

6. Plans and payment

• Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Dodo Payments. Dodo Payments is the merchant of record for all our orders: it processes your payment, charges any sales tax, VAT or GST that applies in your country, and handles billing questions, refunds and chargebacks with us.
• Prices are in US dollars. Tax is shown at checkout where it applies. Your bank may charge its own currency conversion fee.
• Search Pass, Career Ready and top-ups don't renew automatically. We remind you 7 days before a plan ends. You decide whether to buy again.
• Recruiter Pro renews each quarter until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Billing, and keep access until the end of the quarter you paid for.
• Usage limits (scores, applications, reviews, exports) are per plan period and don't carry over.
• Refunds are covered in our Refund policy.
• We may change prices for future purchases. A change never affects a plan you've already paid for.

7. Jobs posted by others

Jobs on Elayto, and jobs you paste in from elsewhere, are created by third parties. We check postings for signs of scams and remove ones we believe are fake, but we can't guarantee that every posting is genuine, current or accurate. Never pay an employer to apply, and never share bank details before you have a written offer. Report anything suspicious to hello@elayto.com.

8. Employers and recruiters

• You must have authority to hire for the roles you post, and the roles must be real and open.
• Use candidate information only to consider that candidate for that role. Don't sell it, or use it for marketing or anything else.
• Candidates are told when their profile is viewed, shortlisted, downloaded or exported.
• You are solely responsible for your hiring decisions and for complying with employment, anti-discrimination, data protection and any AI-in-hiring laws that apply to you, including any bias audits or notices those laws require. Elayto connects you with candidates and does not make or audit hiring decisions.

9. Acceptable use

Don't use Elayto to:

• post fake jobs, ask candidates for money, or collect personal data under false pretences;
• upload content that isn't yours or that you don't have the right to share;
• scrape, copy or resell the service or its data, or get around usage limits;
• attack, overload or try to break into the service;
• break any law.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and remove content that does.

10. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings, or by writing to us. We may close an account that breaks these terms. If we close your account without a breach on your part, we'll refund the unused part of any paid plan.

11. Our service and intellectual property

Elayto's software, design and brand belong to us. These terms give you a personal right to use the service; they don't transfer any ownership. Drafts we generate for you from your content are yours to use.

12. Liability

We provide Elayto with reasonable care and skill, but "as is", without promises beyond those in these terms. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, lost opportunities or the decisions of employers, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

13. Changes

We may update these terms as Elayto changes. We'll show the date at the top and tell you by email about important changes before they take effect.

14. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Mumbai have jurisdiction, without taking away any right you have to bring a claim in your own country under its consumer law. Please write to us first; most problems can be fixed quickly.
